Disturbing Photos Surface Online: Stray Dog in Ghaziabad Left Critically Injured After Brutal Attack

Disturbing images have emerged online, shedding light on a horrifying act of animal cruelty in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, a man identified as Roop Chand allegedly pierced a stray dog’s eye with a hot iron rod near Street number 3, Dina Garhi, Old Bus Stand. The heinous incident has left the innocent dog in critical condition, sparking outrage and calls for justice.

The Ghaziabad police swiftly responded to the incident, registering a case at the Sihani Gate police station and initiating legal proceedings against the accused. The distressing visuals of the injured dog circulated on social media, triggering shock and anger among netizens.

The incident came to light through a social media post, which caught the attention of authorities. The Ghaziabad Police took suo motu cognisance of the matter and filed a complaint, launching an investigation into the brutal attack. An FIR was lodged under provisions of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, naming the suspect mentioned in the post as “Roop Chandra.”

Ravendra Gautam, the station house officer of Sihani Gate police station, stated, “As of now, no complainant came forward regarding the incident. We did not come across the injured dog as mentioned in the social media post as well. However, a suo motu FIR has been registered after the issue was found mentioned in a social media post.”

The shocking post depicted the injured dog with a bleeding eye, prompting widespread condemnation and demands for swift action against the perpetrator. The authorities have assured a thorough investigation into the matter to ensure justice for the innocent animal.
