Recently a post was published on the official website of the Guinness book of world record. A 21-year 66-day-old dog made a record as the oldest living dog. This dog is from Florida and its name is TobyKeith. This dog is owned by Gisela Shore. According to the report Ms. Shore adopted this dog when it was a few months old. The dog is living with her for more than 20 years.
Shore informed that she was volunteering at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue when one of the employees informed her about an elderly couple planning to give away a puppy. When Ms Shore met with the couple and asked the reason they said that they will be not able to take care of this dog that’s why they want to give it to them who can take care of it. When Ms Shore took this dog from couple his name was Peanut butter and Ms Shore gave him a new name TobyKeith.
The average age of Chihuahua ranges from 14 – to 18 years. When the TobyKeith reached the 20-year-old Ms. Shore shocked and hoped that he could be the oldest living dog. The Guinness Book of World Records confirmed that the dog is 21 years old. Ms. Shore was so happy after knowing Tobykeith’s name is on the Guinness Book of World records for Oldest living dog.
Her friends and family members are thrilled. A video clip of TobyKeith is going viral on social media more than 17 thousand people lived this video and people are congratulating the dog for reaching 21 years. People are also appreciating being named in the Guinness Book of World records. The current age of TobyKeith is 21 years and 66 days.
The Chihuahua was born on 9 January 2001 in the US. Gisela Shore from Florida adopted this dog from an animal shelter when it was a few months old. She told that this is the happiest movement and she treated her dog for this. TobyKeith got a bath, his nails trimmed, and went for a car ride as a special treat when the news was confirmed. She has two other dogs Chihuahua Luna (a seven-year-old American Bulldog) and Lala (a three-year-old Chinese Crested). She has two parrots Coco (a 28-year-old Umbrella Cockatoo) and Coqui (a 32-year-old African Grey).
She especially takes care of Chihuahua for his fitness. He does exercise and his diet is consisting of vegetables, rice, and chicken and no sugary treats. People are wondering about watching the good look of Chihuahua at this age.
